Building an identity around what you eat.

When a choice of eating makes a positive impact on our lives, it's very easy to pin ourselves to this lifestyle choice and build an identity around it. So much so that you can close yourself off to the possibility that any other way of living could be better. The tighter we cling to an identity, the harder it becomes to grow beyond it - and in this case, we become brittle. This lifestyle choice may serve you in certain circumstances, and less so in others. Being open to all possibilities and never settling on one specific lifestyle allows us to be flexible, as life is ever moving and changing.


Suggestions: Keep your identity small, and don't let your beliefs confine you. Reflect and review; regularly check-in and ask yourself if your choice of lifestyle is still serving you.
