Healthy living and alcohol.

I'm all about balance, I always have been and always will be.

It's a repeated feature in my book, find a healthy balance that you can sustain for... well, ever.

Part of that balance for many of us is alcohol, I know it is for me at least.

I enjoy a drink, sometimes far more than what some might deem "healthy" - but life is about living.

It's not about what you do on the 12 days of Christmas, it's about what you do in the remaining months of the year.

The same goes for alcohol, those odd occasions aren't going to set you back, providing it is occasional and you're treating your body correctly day in day out.

My general advice to you would be to do absolutely nothing. Have a drink, enjoy yourself, then continue on with your life!

Don't feel guilty when you consume alcohol, even if you go overboard. Enjoy the moment, make it worthwhile, and pick up where you left off afterward.

Stay hydrated, get a good workout in the next day, and get back on the grind.

I'm sorry if you were expecting something more complex!

The same goes if you are practicing intermittent fasting, as I discuss in my book. Have a drink, enjoy yourself, and soldier on.

And as always, practice moderation.

Do you want to take me on as a coach?

I spent over two eyars writing the most comprehensive guide to intermittent fasting, and you'll find it on your local Amazon!
