Everyone has bad days, months, EVEN YEARS... That phase that you didn't feel like yourself. The time you just weren’t on form. When a major life event seemed to strike you down. This is something we should really normalise, and accept as a part of life. The best example I can give you is when I was struggling with my gut health, and it fed into every avenue of my life from my health and wellbeing, both physical and mentally, to my social life. For a good 8 months I wasn't myself, and losing the attachment to the "good form" that came before was difficult. But at the end of the day, the only way is forward. In most situations, there is a solution. I firmly believe that. Although I certainly won't undermine those that may not. More often than not, part of the solution is time - which means that we just have to stick it out and control what's within our influence until we make it through. If you're reading this and you're going through one of these phases, just know that you're not alone and it's perfectly normal.
